We describe this work carefully because incarcerated people, people in recovery, public-safety personnel, and their families deserve privacy and respect. The Refuge does not operate a treatment program or speak on behalf of the Sheriff's Department.
JCAP participation
Pastor Bryan and members of The Refuge support people participating in Whitley County's Jail Chemical Addiction Program through teaching, encouragement, and spiritual care. JCAP is a county program; The Refuge does not operate it or provide clinical treatment.
Sheriff's chaplaincy
Pastor Bryan serves as chaplain to the Whitley County Sheriff's Department. Chaplaincy may include pastoral care, crisis presence, prayer, and support for personnel and families. This website does not speak for or imply endorsement by the Department.
